MSIT 2021-2022 Curriculum Crosswalk
The MSIT has a new curriculum starting fall 2021, below are the suggested crosswalk actions for existing students.
- Students in Graduate Certificate in IT foundation. There is no change to this certificate.
- Students in MSIT program.
- Change to the new catalog. Use this link to request to switch to 2021-2022 catalog. The electives you already took will be automatically carried over.
- Stay in your current catalog. The program requirement stays the same. You may take the new elective courses through course subsitution. For students in security focus area, IT 6863 and IT 6883 will be discontinued on fall 2022.
- Graduate certificate. If you are getting a graduate certificate as your focus area, you don't have to anything additional. Just take courses based on new certificate requirement and enter the right catalog year when you declare for that certificate. If you already decared your certificate, use this link to change the catalog year of your certificate.
- Students in who are in Standalone Graduate Certificate.
- Change to the new catalog. Use this link to request to switch to 2021-2022 catalog. The electives you already took will be automatically carried over.
- Stay in your current catalog. The program requirement stays the same. You may take the new elective courses through course subsitution. Due to KSU policy, ONLY 1 course subsitution is allowed for graduate certificate. For students in security certificate, IT 6863 and IT 6883 will be discontinued on fall 2022.
