    As a Junior Implementation Specialist, you will be taking an organization from post-sales and through an implementation process of selected software modules. Questions will be asked, and creative solutions will have to be designed. The ideal candidate is hyper-organized, can think on their feet, and has a wide breadth of technical knowledge. 
     
    Tasks and responsibilities:
    -       Serve as the primary resource between the company and the client for the implementation process until onboarding is complete 
    -       Develop and cultivating positive client relationships in a dynamic product ecosystem
    -       Train users on processes and software application use
    -       Resolve operational and technical issues as required
    -       Maintain intimate working knowledge of the software product and stay up to date with new features
     
    Required skills/experience:
    -       Enthusiastic, deep work ethic
    -       An understanding of software engineering principles and the software life cycle
    -       Experience in at least one object-oriented programming language
    -       Entire Microsoft Office Suite and Google platform of tools
    -       Computer networking (preferred)
    -       Ability to manage multiple projects at one time while maintaining sharp attention to detail
    -       Working knowledge of project management tools such as Trello and Slack

Dr. Aledhari’s research group is committed to conducting research in computational, data, and engineering sciences in the context of biomedical, clinical, and public health disciplines and applying this knowledge to support the nation’s leading health initiatives. Dr. Aledhari has a track record of mentoring students to attain high impact positions, including but not limited to staff scientists and software engineering positions in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and data science fields. 

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    Writing including grant, proposal, scientific article, peer-reviewed papers, and technical writing on various Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based problems including but not limited to Data Analytics (Machine Learning & Computer Vision), Genomics & Computational Biology, Gene & RNA Editing, and Personalized Medicine. 

    Assist Dr. Aledhari in developing and navigating novel research directions for researches.

    Qualifications:

    1.     BSc. Or MSc. in computer science or related field that focuses on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for healthcare and computational biology.

    2.     Strong mathematical skills (linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics) and proficiency in programming with Python are needed.

    4.     The ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and written).

    5.     Capable of producing significant research results, publications, and funding proposals.

    The positions come with a tuition waiver and a monthly stipend($35,000 annually). The appointment length will be for one year with the potential for extension (for up to 2 years). Extensions are subject to performance and the availability of funding.

    Position Description
    The Federal Reserve Board seeks two highly motivated graduate-level computer science students to join the Division of Reserve Bank Operations and Payment Systems as computer science fellows for the fall academic semester, with possible spring and summer extensions. Fellows will support the Board’s ongoing digital currencies experimentation work. Potential projects will focus on topics such as distributed ledgers,
    digital objects, digital identities, cryptography, programming language interoperability, data storage, cybersecurity, information technology (IT) hardware, and hosting conventions. Projects will depend on the
    fellows’ knowledge base and interests. The fellows are expected to contribute written work and code product as part of their assignments. Fellows will work virtually, up to 20 hours per week.
    Position Requirements
    Fellows must be enrolled in a U.S.-based graduate-level computer science program, reside in the United States, and authorized to work in the United States. The fellowship program encourages applicants from communities underrepresented in computing. Fellows are also expected to have academic support from their universities.     • Associate or Technical School degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience. Current Information Technology enrolled students encouraged to apply 
    • Industry Certification not required for employment but must be obtain and current once FTE

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Previous phone Helpdesk Support experience preferred (plus)
    • Customer Service focused
    • A+ cert or equivalent experience required. Must obtain A+ within 3 months of employment
    • Minor networking skills (ping, ipconfig, DNS, AD, routing, IP, etc...) 

    TECHNICAL SKILLS

    • Knowledge of Microsoft platforms
    • Knowledge of MS Office suite applications
    • Knowledge of PC hardware, printers, and remote connectivity
    • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Apple hardware and operating systems (not necessary but a plus)
    • Knowledge of network administration (account unlocks and password resets)
    • Superior problem-solving and trouble shooting skills

    • Hours are 8am to 5pm, AM and PM shifts available but candidates need to be flexible for 7 days per week and work weekends
    • Can work with college schedules to fit employees availability

    PAY

    • $9.00 in training (4-6 weeks) and $10-$15 out of training depending on experience and performance

  • Immediate Openning

    Key Tasks may include:

    • Analyze and resolve functional issues that arise post implementation in connection with supply chain software solutions. Work with analysts to provide issue resolution utilizing supply chain technologies. Perform testing of client specific enhancements in a timely manner. Primary activities include client communication, testing, issues resolution, and post implementation support.

    PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

    • Fluent in Spanish language
    • Four-year bachelor’s, master's or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business or related field.
    • Some experience with database troubleshooting or developing in SQL or related relational database.
    • Requires up to 30% to 50% travel.
