Step 1. Understand the Admission Requirements
MSIT Admission Requirements
- Official Transcripts - from EACH College and/or University you have attended. Must be in a sealed envelope from the institution or sent electronically from the institution directly to ksugrad@kennesaw.edu.
- Statement of Purpose - (1 or 2 pages explaining why you want to apply & why you are a good fit. Can be uploaded into the online application).
- Resume/Vita - (Can be uploaded into the online application).
- Letters of Recommendation - (Optional. Sent electronically through the online application).
Graduate Certificate Requirements
- Official Transcripts - from EACH College and/or University attended.
- Resume/Vita - (Can be uploaded into the online application).

Step 3 – Submit Required Documents
- Online Application Portal
- Official transcripts from EACH College and/or University you have attended. Must be in a sealed envelope from the institution or sent electronically from the institution directly to ksugrad@kennesaw.edu.
- Official Evaluation of all foreign transcripts is required. Check out the International students page for details.

Step 4 – Check Application Status
- Use Online Application Portal to check the status of your application status.
- Try to submit the required document as soon as you can. The program director will review an application within one week once the application is complete.

Step 5 – Get Accepted? Enroll in the program.
- If you are admitted to the program, you will receive an acceptance email from the graduate college and welcome letter from the program director.
- You may then follow the process to enroll and register for classes.
